How to use Gmail to send email in Moodle

We can use Gmail SMTP settings to send mail in Moodle

 Go to Site administration->Server->Email

SMTP hosts: ssl://smtp.gmail.com:465

SMTP username: your gmail username

SMTP password: your gmail password

Note:
Your gmail account  should have 'Access for less secure apps'.
Turn on following,
https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps

    1. May be your firewall or proxy blocked smtp.gmail.com
      try ping smtp.gmail.com and check that in CMD

  2. Hi, it worked for the first day but then Google rejected mails by telling:
    Technical details of permanent failure:
    Message rejected. See http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?answer=69585 for more information.

    Is there any way to fix this?
